Dawn J. Krigstin is the Founder and CEO of Envoy Specialty, a boutique claims and insurance consulting firm serving specialty lines insurance carriers and program partners, including MGAs and MGUs. She leads a national team of experienced claims professionals known for disciplined file handling, thoughtful coverage analysis, and practical, results-oriented resolution across complex primary and excess claims—particularly in environmental, professional, and specialty liability.

Dawn has spent her career managing high-exposure matters and litigation-driven claims with a focus on clarity, consistency, and defensible outcomes. Prior to founding Envoy Specialty, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Claims Officer at Ironshore Environmental. She began her career in private practice at a leading New York City law firm before transitioning to AIG, where she further developed her expertise in complex claims management and risk resolution.

At Envoy Specialty, Dawn partners with carriers and insureds to address a wide range of challenging matters, including pollution releases, mold and toxic tort, construction defect, New York Labor Law, product liability, media liability, and emerging risks.

Dawn earned her J.D. from Syracuse University and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Development School for Youth, supporting mentorship and career development programs for underserved students.
